A note from the author:

Shalom already. I'm Hans Jewish Andersen and these are my stories, take 'em or leave 'em already.

This is a collection of Yiddish-ized (Yiddish-ish?) retellings of old fables and fairy tales once written by (but not limited to!) Hans Christian Anderson, Aesop, The Brothers Grimm and just about anything else that isn't copyrighted. Maybe we'll take on the Torah in our next book, who knows, stand by.

This collection of stories will be published very soon, we promise, so again, stand by. In the meantime, feel free to contact the publisher, editor, and chief coffee maker, Dylan O'Leary, who is "one of us" in spirit. Or as I call him Dylan Ch'Leary, or Moshe Dylaan O'Leary, or my personal favorite, Kosher Dyl. Okay.

A note from the editor:

Hi, I'm Dylan O'Leary. We here at HJAPrinting present these stories with the hope that they will delight children with a lot of humor and a little Jewish culture. Each story has a modern twist on it and a lesson to be learned. Also, at the end of each story, there's a little glossary of the Yiddish or Hebrew words used in it and a little information about the story (where it comes from, what it means, etc.) so kids learn a little more about the Jewish world around them.

Plus, there are games and puzzles at the end of the book that can only be figured out by knowing the stories. Then the kids can go online with their answers (and with their parent's permission) and try their hand at more difficult games and puzzles and earn prizes.

Feel free to contact me, or Hans, for questions and more information.

Thank you,
Dylan O'Leary
